Established in 1962

The City of Adeanto -The area was originally inhabited by the Serrano Native American tribe. In 1915, E. H. Richardson, the inventor of what would become the Hotpoint electric iron, founded Adelanto. The name Adelanto means ‘progress’ or ‘advance’ in Spanish.
Town of Apple Valley -While we became an official Town when residents voted for incorporation in 1988, our history goes back much further. Local historians have found signs of Serrano Indian camps along the Mojave River in Apple Valley.
The City of Hesperia -it's history stretches far beyond its 1988 incorporation. Hesperia’s past is rich with the history of the Mojave Indian Tribe, Spanish settlers and the westward travelers of the Mormon Trail. The 1900s were a booming time with the increased popularity of automobiles and Route 66.
City of Victorville was incorporated on September 21, 1962 as a general law city.  At the time, the population was approximately 8,110, and the land area was 9.7 square miles.

Our Goal

When the cities and town were growing in population, the increasing number of Democratics came to the high desert. Eventually in 1962, the Victor Valley Democratic Club was established with members from across the high desert. Main portions of Adelanto, Apple Valley, Hesperia, and Victorville.

In prominent positions in community committees, board of education boards, and local government Democrats have been elected.
To this day, we continue to carry out the mission and objectives that were instilled in 1962.

We remain STRONG BLUE!
